ADJUSTABLE JIB

We are pleased to announce the introduction of new product enhancements to four of our existing models, the SL-220, SL-222, SL-330 & SL-400.

In October of 2005, we introduced the SL-180 with the optional dual hook height (adjustable jib), the first of its kind in the industry. Building off the tremendous market acceptance and success of this model we are expanding this product feature to include the SL-220, SL-222, SL-330 & SL-400.

These new product enhancements offer our customers the greatest flexibility and versatility in the industry. The SwapLoader family of Hooklift Hoists has been designed to grow as your business needs change and grow.

Let gravity do the work! SwapLoader uses an adjustable (rotating) jib design, not the common tube inside a tube design. We've cut out the need for expensive hydraulics to power the jib and eliminated the chance of you fighting the rusty manual slide alternative.

As with the rest of the SwapLoader hook-lift hoist product line, these hoists retain all the same great features you've come to know and enjoy (3-year parts warranty, slide through body locks, sliding jib, large beveled rear rollers, dual pivot rear section, rugged main frame, dual lift cylinders, nylatron slide pads, and the ever flexible low-pressure hydraulics).

Container Variable System

SwapLoader is proud to announce the release of the Container Variability System (C.V.S.). The C.V.S. was
designed to expand the range of container lengths handled on our hooklift hoists by taking advantage of the sliding
jib feature inherent to the product line. In the past, transporting a container shorter than the overall length of a
hooklift hoist was not recommended because the container could be slid forward of the rear rollers potentially
damaging both the hooklift and the container.

The C.V.S. accommodates a container that is shorter than the overall length of the hoist by automatically limiting
how far forward the container can be positioned on the hoist. The forward motion of the container is stopped when
a tab that is welded to the side of the container longsill contacts the C.V.S. lever arm. This activates a hydraulic
valve which bypasses the oil being used to extend the jib cylinder back into the hydraulic tank (see photos below).
Utilizing the C.V.S. expands the range of container lengths able to be accommodated on our hooklift hoists by
enabling the pick up and automatic positioning of a container that is up to two feet shorter than the standard
minimum recommended length for a given hoist.
