The Dual Rear Pivot is one of many important product features to the SwapLoader hooklift System. All SwapLoader models include this major safety feature.
Dump Mode Benefit
An important benefit of SwapLoader’s Dual Rear Pivot design is that it secures the container in the body lock system during the dump cycle. This allows the hoist to function as a true dump truck. The Dual Rear Pivot also allows the rigid full-length frame to provide even support to the body/container when operating in dump mode. Positive mechanical latches and body locks combine to secure the container to the hoist
at all times. The importance of this safety feature becomes apparent
during a load shift or when dumping wet/sticky material.
Dual Rear Pivot = Greater Dump Angle
SwapLoader’s Dual Rear Pivot allows longer containers to achieve
a steeper dump angle. Compare this to the competitor’s single pivot design which rolls the container back and down as it goes into dump mode causing a longer container to contact the ground sooner.
The single pivot design greatly reduces the user’s dump angle when
operating with longer bodies.
Initial Mounting Leverage
Another important feature of SwapLoader’s Dual Rear Pivot that distinguishes it from the competitor’s single pivot design is the increased mounting leverage at the beginning of the load cycle. This is extremely beneficial when having to dislodge
a container that may be stuck in the mud or frozen to the ground.
