DUAL lift cylinders

Dual Lift Cylinders come standard on all SwapLoader hooklift hoists. This equates to safety and stability when transporting, dumping or swapping bodies. SAFETY and
STABILITY are a priority in the design of each SwapLoader Hoist, no matter the capacity or length of the hoist. We wouldn't have it any other way!

Why Dual Lift Cylinders? There are several reasons why SwapLoader’s dual lift cylinder system is superior to our competitor’s single cylinder designs.

Dual Lift Cylinders insure Stability in Loading &
Unloading containers/bodies.
If you have an uneven load that needs to be picked up, our dual lift cylinders work together to guarantee unequalled stability throughout the load cycle. Have you ever tried lifting anything heavy with one arm? It can be done, but how much extra effort is exerted to stabilize the weight and what is the wear/tear factor on your body if this action is repeated on a daily basis? It’s your classic example of two being better than one. SwapLoader has always considered stability an absolute must, especially when moving thousands of pounds around during mounting, dismounting, or dumping.

Dual Lift Cylinders offer Stability in Dumping
containers/bodies.
In dump mode, SwapLoader offers the safety/stability the hoist operator is looking for. By having dual lift cylinders, you can operate your hoist with confidence, knowing that the extra support required while in dump mode is there. Remember, loads shift, especially during dump cycles! SwapLoader wouldn’t think of designing a hoist that might compromise your daily operation.

Dual Lift Cylinders offer Safety.
SwapLoader uses double acting dual lift cylinders with integrated counter balance valves on every hoist. Should you experience a hydraulic pressure loss from a cut hose or damaged fitting, the counter balance valves will engage automatically, holding both lift cylinders in position and not allowing the cylinders to retract or extend until the hydraulic system is repaired. Once pressure is re-established to the hydraulic system, the hoist will return to normal operating mode.
