Customer Feedback

The biggest benefit SwapLoader has offered my business is versatility and the ability to surpass the middle man, increasing my profit margins by another third. I can thank SwapLoader’s true dump capabilities for that. It generated the respect I needed to compete with the ‘big boys’. Because without it, they wouldn’t even let me into their yards.” Frank says, “This machine is amazing! I’m limited only by my imagination when it comes to my SwapLoader hoist.

Frank Winship
Owner, Scrap Metal Recovery

SwapLoader Grows His Business
10 Fold!

St. Paul, Minesota

Twelve years ago, Frank Winship started Scrap Metal Recovery in St. Paul, MN. He was working for a company in the twin cities that handled bumpers for vehicles of all makes and models. One day on the job, Frank’s future suddenly became very clear. He purchased a half-ton pickup truck from a friend for $200 and has been hauling scrap metal ever since. Today he owns five trucks. Two of them are mounted with SwapLoader hoists. “I’ve transformed from a common junk hauler to a sheet metal specialist.”

Running an SL-125, SL-180 and shuffling over 60 open-top containers, Frank has no plans of slowing down. “My customers expect me to be reliable and dependable. In return, I expect the same out of my equipment.” Frank had plenty to say about his SwapLoader hoists and how they’ve been key in his company’s growth. “SwapLoader has allowed my business to grow 10 fold. These hoists operate very fast, which is essential in this business and right in line with my motto, “Hit & Run”. I work long hours (13 hours a day, 6 days a week) and need to maximize my time spent. Now I’m averaging a full load hauled every hour with my SwapLoader hoists, compared to 3-4 loads a day with my conventional trucks.”

The SwapLoader has revolutionalized the way we handle our trucking business.

Ed Nessinger,
President of Nessco Construction Inc.

Multi-Use Business
Santa Rosa, California

Nessco Construction owns and operates an SL-400 and swaps several bodies to conduct it's daily business. Nessco uses it's Swaploader in the removal of debris from construction sites, erosion control, landscape construction and equipment hauling. The SL-400 hook-lift hoist is designed for the customer who wants to use a short tandem chassis with a powerful 40,000 lb. dumping capacity. Ed owns a 25 yard debris box, a 15’ concrete wash out, and a 15’ flatbed that he swaps on a regular basis.

When asked if he would recommend SwapLoader to others in the industry and what his number one reason would be, Ed focused on several reasons. Using SwapLoader means needing fewer drivers and less overtime. Safety is a big concern in the construction industry and the SwapLoader hook-lift hoist is operated entirely from inside the cab of the truck. Ed also liked having several options for body types, but emphatically states that owning a SwapLoader has improved bottom line profits.

"I’ll be the first to admit. I do things with my hook-lifts they were never intended to do. Sometimes it just takes a creative mind and a really good hook-lift to get the job done. I push my hoists to the limits and when equally pushed, SwapLoader is hands down the most durable of the group."

"I have owned and operated both Stellar and K-PAC hook-lift systems. Neither has the strength or quality that is designed and built into my SwapLoader hoists", says Charles.

"There’s less maintenance, no down time, you get true capacity ratings (not fluff), a 3 year warranty, noticeably stronger hoist construction and added value for every dollar spent."

No Competition...
It’s SwapLoader All The Way!

Lincoln, Nebraska

When it was time to purchase another hook-lift hoist system, Charles Cifarelli, owner of U-Betcha Hauling Services Inc., in Lincoln, NE was skeptical of SwapLoader. And for good reason. It would be the third brand of hook-lift system he’d tried in his fleet and he wasn’t impressed with any of them yet.

But he had a real awakening when his local dealer (MWC Enterprises in Lincoln, NE) convinced him to try a SwapLoader. Now, he can WOW almost anyone with what he can do with a hook-lift hoist.

U-Betcha puts any hook-lift through its paces...running 10 to 30 yard containers in their demolition and residential clean up business. Yet they need to change over effortlessly to flatbeds to transport equipment. Through every climate change, even rapidly deteriorating weather conditions, from extreme hot to extreme cold temps, Charles doesn’t slow down a bit. He depends on his reliable SwapLoader hoists and adamantly sings their praises.

No wonder our design engineers love people like Charles. He motivates them to try harder all the time. And his candid assessment of hook-lifts makes him the perfect spokesperson.

"I first heard about SwapLoader type applications being used by the military. On a trip to Fort Hood Army base in Texas while visiting my brother I first observed the efficiency being implemented by the U S Army to handle different pieces of day to day equipment and palatalized loads. I have recommended SwapLoader to others in the industry. As a member of the Westford Fire Department for the past twenty-five years, I have introduced this technology to the Fire Department’s fleet and they have purchased a SwapLoader unit. The fire department in Westford has recognized the benefits of using interchangeable bodies to perform tasks it would take multiple trucks and personnel resources to perform thus taking away from fire service operations."

Highway Superintendent

How the Town of Westford uses their SwapLoader
Westford, Massachusetts

Hooklift dumpsters, enclosed recycling bodies, enclosed tree chipping/brush body, enclosed leaf collection body with vacuum unit, assorted dump bodies, flatbed bodies, grounds maintenance body for moving around grounds maintenance equipment, thousand-gallon sewer jet, thousand-gallon portable water source, thousand-gallon liquid anti-icing body, 6-yard V-box sander sanding unit, Bituminous asphalt heater box, patching unit; and bituminous asphalt reclaiming unit and the list goes on and on. The Highway and Grounds departments of Westford, Massachusetts use three Swaploader units on a daily basis. These units are deployed and used as needed for many seasonal applications, including snow and ice removal, sewer line maintenance, Parks and Grounds operations, portable water source, sweeping operations, and almost every other municipal use that you can think of. The SwapLoader Hook-Lift Hoist is an ideal operation in Westford where New England weather is always unpredictable. This system requires little or no maintenance and the driver never has to leave the cab of the truck. SwapLoader is unique in the fact that one truck can be transformed into many conventional trucks. Because SwapLoader can "Swap" truck bodies quickly and easily, it's like having an entire army of trucks for many uses.
